Delete your StepChase account

Start in the app

Open Profile & Settings, then choose Delete account.

StepChase asks you to sign in again before permanent deletion.

Deleting the app or signing out does not delete an account.

Resolve owned groups first

You must transfer ownership or close every active group you own. Deletion cannot continue while an active group needs an owner.

What happens after confirmation

StepChase begins permanent deletion and signs you out.

It ends social visibility, revokes sessions and invitations, and clears app-owned local data.

It deletes your profile, avatar, daily aggregates, goals, settings, achievements, titles, reactions, and sign-in identity.

It also removes social leaderboard records linked to your account.

Limited records that can remain

Safety reports can remain as private evidence for review.

Known account references are cleared from those reports.

A reported profile name becomes a generic deleted-member label, and its avatar reference is removed.

A private deletion receipt can remain for seven days to make retries safe.

What deletion does not remove

Deletion does not remove records stored in Apple Health or Health Connect.

You manage those records in the connected health service.

A downloadable data export is not currently available.
