Last updated: August 15, 2026
These Terms govern your use of StepChase.
By using StepChase, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines below.
StepChase is a fitness app, not a medical service or medical advice.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use StepChase.
You can use private Me features without an account.
Friends, Groups, invitations, and cloud sync require an authenticated account.
Keep your sign-in method secure. Do not share invitation links outside their intended audience.
Step data and friendly competition
You choose whether StepChase can read Step Count from Apple Health or Health Connect.
The connected health service remains the source of truth for records stored there.
Results can change when health data arrives, permissions change, or StepChase reconciles recent dates.
StepChase does not promise real-time, complete, certified, or error-free results.
Competitions are friendly and do not offer prizes.
Do not use StepChase for medical, emergency, employment, insurance, legal, or financial decisions.

You keep ownership of names and images you provide.
You allow StepChase to host and display them only as needed to operate the service.
You must have permission to use the content you provide.
StepChase has no user posts, chat, comments, captions, or public profile directory.

Reports, blocking, and enforcement
You can report eligible profiles and group identities by choosing a fixed reason.
A report does not automatically block anyone or decide an outcome.
StepChase reviews available evidence and may remove content, limit access, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts.
Actions should match the safety risk, severity, and repeated behavior.
StepChase does not share another member's report or enforcement details.
Use Support to ask about a moderation decision or request another review.
Groups and invitations
Group roles control available administration actions.
Owners must transfer ownership or close active groups before leaving or deleting their account.
Invitations can expire, be revoked, or stop working when a group reaches capacity.
Service changes and availability
StepChase may change, pause, or remove features as the service evolves.
Access can also change when a relationship, group membership, privacy setting, or account status changes.
Where the law allows, StepChase is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted service.
Account deletion
You can start account deletion in Profile & Settings.
Deletion is irreversible after confirmation and has no grace period.
Read the deletion instructions before you continue.
